These New Puritans: Autumn 2025 EU/UK tour (session performer)
https://www.thesenewpuritans.com/live/
Londinium Consort ‘Crossing Paths’ @ Leeds International Chamber Series
Elizabethan songs, folk ballads and new compositions meet in this layered programme on exile and migration. Music by John Dowland and William Brade tells of musicians who travelled across Europe in search of work and expression. These are paired with new works by young composers that respond to history with stories of immigration, longing, and personal rebirth.
Londinium Consort @ Skipton Music
Londinium Consort will present an exploration of the pressing questions of our modern era, with new works and arrangements paired alongside thematically linked pieces by composers John Dowland and Claudio Monteverdi.
Londinium Consort is an emerging ensemble based in London comprising current and former students of the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Exploring the intersection of old and new, the ensemble takes its name from the ancient name of the City of London, highlighting the city’s living history and richly varied cultural landscape.
In 2024, Londinium Consort won the New Elizabethan Award organized by the Musician’s Company and they made their debut at the Wigmore Hall in February 2025 in the New Elizabethan Award Prize winner’s concert.
They are grateful to the Continuo Foundation for generously funding their first album, Crossing Paths, which was released in 2025.
We are delighted to announce that the ensemble will also be the guest artists for our Annual Schools Concert from 2-3pm.

Londinium Consort ‘Crossing Paths’ @ City Music Society (free entry)
‘Crossing Paths’, the debut album by Londinium Consort supported by a grant from Continuo Foundation, blends repertoire from Elizabethan London with contemporary compositions, creating moments of liminality where the two worlds meet, are reimagined, and become something altogether new. Each work in today’s programme explores a theme of journeys: how do these transitions help us embark on quests for meaning? From stories of relationships, exile, and immigration, to the sounds of commuting in the city, historical lines are blurred as these ideas appear in both their modern and historical contexts.
